I don’t normally endorse service companies, however Progedo is a comapny that i have oersonally used t my complete satifaction. Attaching my name to such a compnay is a pleasure for me.
Progedo is a first class relocation and immigration service company located in Berlin, Bremen, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Dresden, Frankfurt, Hanover, Hamburg, Munich, Nuremburg and Stuttgart.
Progedo have corporate and private client base.
They are a first class professional organisation I was introduced to their services and very relieved I was to know them.
I was looking to register my wife as the spouse of an EU citizen and normal route was to go to foreign registration office to for an appointment. On website for this office in wedding area of berlin the first appointment was in three months’ time my wife has only a three-month visa. The alternative was to go and wait outside the offices at around 0600 joining the queue to get entrance at 0800.
We managed to arrive at the office only to find that the people were rude, unhelpful in the extreme we tried to get the required paperwork another way and fortunately found Progedo. We made an appointment to visit their office right opposite the S Bahn station so very convenient.

We met Theresa Walther the branch manager
Who went over what was required in detail and advises us that they dealt with foreign registration at a different business office recently opened. We simply had to send Theresa by email the paperwork that was requested ie, resident address registered at local government office with copy of tenancy agreement, proof of work prospects and earnings, bank statements etc. These forms were then sent in advance to the registration office and we waited to see if any more paperwork was required. Theresa was so very thorough that all paper work was vetted approved, nothing else was required, in less than three weeks we were told to bring passport and photo suitable for passport. Theresa met us at the registration office to take my wife to the office for her appointment, they had a few minutes’ interview with registration officials while they produced her EU residence card.
I cannot recommend enough the professional and friendly service we received. The stress level was negated completely and the whole process was both painless and friendly
Yes, you pay a fee, the fee is fair and not excessive. You are treated with respect by Progedo and Foreign Registrations Office. This is the only way to go, believe me German paperwork is difficult at the best of times, with Progedo everything is smooth and trouble free.
